The Meadowview Board has released a New Proposed Operating Rules and Regulations" on December 1, 2021, with a 28 day review period. Per Civil Code, members must reply with comments to the HOA. By law, the Board may take your comments under consideration and vote on them on or after the January 18, 2021 Board Meeting, per their notice.
These "Rules and Regulations affect your property rights, and use of quiet enjoyment of your property.
Many have asked the Board/HOA for side by side comparisons or redlines but have been told they do not exist or are not forthcoming. We have also asked for the "Proposed Rules and Regulations" to be withdrawn so that residents have ample time to review after the holidays. As the result, the Board pulled the matter off the Agenda for January 18, 2021, and have indicated the Association attorney will be present to hear comments and answer questions. HOWEVER, no extension has been given for the comment/objections period from January 8, 2021. That said, state law allows at least 28 days before the Board will vote again.
NOTICE ISSUES:
